Jessica & Nick {family} – Austin Texas

Post by: Holly

Gosh I loved this shoot! Cooper and Bullet are hilarious little dogs with such crazy personalities. Cooper, the boxer with the sassy attitude in the first picture below and his believe it or not, older brother cooper had a great time outside playing.

I believe you don’t have to have a ton of kids to get a family session done. If it is just you and your husband or you guys and pets, why not have some great pictures taken to remember this time of your life. I think it is really a shame that the only professional pictures you may have taken of you for years may be a walmart family photo or the pictures taken at your wedding.

If you are interested in getting a family session with us just drop us an email and we can send you along prices and packages!

Bullet’s tongue is way too big for his face. Poor little guy.

hhahah Cheese!!

Poor Bullet couldn’t get in on the jumping action. His legs are just so very tiny.

Ryan wanted to try and get some shots of cooper shaking so we soaked him with the hose. hahah I don’t think he thought that was very fun.

I don’t know what it was, but my goodness, I just love the new few pictures. They edited so well, I am hoping to post some before and after stuff just because its such a dramatic change. We were at 10,000k and they were still crazy cold. I am not even sure what was making everything so blue, but my goodness it looks a lot better warm and happy!

Whoa! This is one of my favorite pictures ever…and I took it! Yippe! I don’t know what it is really, because its so simple but everything is just great in it and its so dang sharp! You should see this thing at 100%.

Ryan took this and I really like it with all the lines everywhere. However, this corner…where I was standing… smelled like pee…real bad. Worth it? Yeah…I guess so.

I mentioned in my post of craig and claire that the 14 can be super cool or really weird. I thought it would be fun to show the super fun/weird of it! Since it stretches things out sooo much towards the edges, why not do it intentionally? Look at how huge his fist is! ahah

While working on these photos I made this new black and white preset I called Purple Duck. I have been frustrated with the black and white presets I have been working from so it was certainly time for a change. I really love how these turned out, there is a slight purple undertone which gives it a much better feel (in my opinion) than a slate gray or a green gray.

Well, that is the end of that. We had such a great time in Austin and I can’t wait to go back.

We are in Dallas right now. We are going to be scouting places to shoot tomorrow for the workshop and then the workshop is on saturday all day. We will be leaving out of Dallas for Oklahoma on monday I think. It has been a great time in texas and I can’t believe it is almost over! Boo! Now that we are on the road trip, I feel like its all happening so fast.

Anyways – I’ll be posting more after the workshop!
